Description

FlashScan V3 Scan Only is a scan tool, data logger and calibration reader for selected GM, Dodge Cummins and Cummins HD engine controllers, in either standalone mode (FlashScan V3 to vehicle connection), or in pass through mode (PC/laptop to FlashScan V3 to vehicle connection).

Add Tuning Options to FlashScan V3 to include calibration flashing to suit your application. Each Tuning Option ships with 2 VIN Licenses to tune two supported controllers.

Pass-thru

    • PC⇄FlashScan V3⇄Connected Vehicle read between 30 sec and 7 minutes (vehicle dependent).
    • Store read & log files onto PC.
    • Read and clear DTC codes.
    • High speed data logging.
    • Gauges & charts display in real time.
    • Read calibration and/or operating system data.

Tools

    • Search files using key vehicle data (VIN, OS, segment).
    • Customize software settings – Scan file save templates, displays, units, dashboards.

Tuning Options (V3 Comes with no Tuning included)

Security

    • Prevent unauthorized reading, editing and flashing of custom tune files.
    • Tune files are encrypted with EFILive proprietary routines.
    • Use Locking options to prevent tune files from being read from the ECM/TCM.

Licensing

    • Multi-vehicle licensing.
    • Each Tuning Option ships with 2 VIN licenses.
    • Each VIN license supports one engine controller. Supported transmission controllers do not require a VIN license.
    • Additional VIN licenses (up to 600) can be purchased.
